Will NCS become the backbone of Internet? Cisco's determination!!

Innovations of Cisco have driven the internet from beyond its original purpose. From traditional approach to a network that can handle voice, video, cloud and other mobile services. A new term has been arisen know as Internet of Everything, which can even change the form of internet. In fact by 2017 IP traffic is estimated to grow to 1.4 zettabytes with more programmable devices such as tablets, phones, machine driven traffic etc. This means that managing bandwidth growth isnt enough any more. That network must evolve to a multi dimensional  network, scaling to effectively manage applications such as hd videos, ultra support, automated and enable new devices which are custom made. 

In networking world, Internet of Everything (IoE) is going to be of utmost importance. Telecom service providers in India have been constantly looking at solutions that could create high flexibility and help them to manage a network environment to enhance their end users. 

Cisco has launched Network Convergence System (NCS) that might become the central nervous system of IoE. With the launch of NCS, Cisco is trying to help service providers to have the oppurtunity to play a central role in their current infra structure by adding NCS. Cisco have already started talks with the leading telecoms. Latest news says that NCS can provide service providers with robust networks, data centres and applications that have advanced capabilities in areas such as performance, programmability, resilence etc. This in turn will help for the business growth.
